US Armed Force Ship
Maintenance
US Naval ship, MSC.
We are certified ABR (Agreement of Boat Repair) HOLDER and we provide general repair and maintenance on US Naval ships stationed at or visiting Sasebo. We cover a wide range repairs, including steel wall structure on ship’s hull, overall engines and propellers, hydraulic/pneumatic control systems which support electrical devices for safety navigation, and painting that requires special qualification. One of our major strengths is our ability to provide comprehensive services for both landing ships and minesweepers (US Navy ships), which comply with strict rules unique to the U.S. military (NAVSEA standards and MIL specifications), and non-combatant ships such as transports and catamaran oceanographic research ships (MSC ships).

JMSDM ship
maintenance
We repair the hulls, engines, and weapons of JFMDS ships. Specifically, we carry out a wide range of repair and maintenance work, including maintenance of engines, generators, and high-pressure air valves. Since our factory is located close to Tategami pier, where major ships of the JMSDF anchor, many emergency construction projects are carried out throughout the year to support the smooth operation of the ships. We also provide support to major shipbuilders and manufacturer of defense such as IHI Inc., Kawasaki Heavy Industry Inc. (Kawaju ship engine service Inc.), Shinkozouki Inc., Japan Marine United Inc., as their agent and have received high praise.

In addition to undertaking the regular maintenance of all jetfoil high-speed vessels on the regular service route between Hakata and Busan, we also carry out emergency repairs of ferries, merchant ships and passenger ships on remote island routes in cooperation with marine equipment manufacturers. We plan to continue to respond to a wide range of private-sector demand such as these.

This project is to provide operation and maintenance service in utility facilities in US Fleet Activities Sasebo and provide electricity and fresh water to the US Naval ships entering and leaving port. US Fleet Activities Sasebo covers an area of 460 hectares, equivalent to about 100 Tokyo Domes, and we are involved with the maintenance and management of a wide range of facilities, including electricity, gas, high-pressure air, steam, clean seawater, roads, housing, schools, and recreational facilities. The UTT project is highly valued by the U.S. Navy for our ability to provide support to service members and their families and have consistently received high praise for our meticulous service to their most important infrastructures.
